Founded in 1992 Turkmall is leading the Turkish shopping center developments and investments. Turkmall’s activities have contributed largely to develop the retail industry in Turkey. In 2004, Turkmall concluded a successful Joint Venture for Turkey with Multi Corporation. Multi Turkmall has successfully completed 8 shoppingmall projects in 4 years.

In 2008, Turkmall concluded a Joint Venture for China under the name Starmall, together with FIBA Holding- and a State General Reserve Fund from the Gulf.

In 2009 Turkmall reactivated its Turkish operations and has been very active in its neighboring countries as well through new Joint Ventures. LibyaMall and OYIA Turkmall are JVs of Turkmall and one of the biggest government funds of the world.

In 2010, the Ras Al-Khaimah Investment Authority of the United Arab Emirates has joined forces with Turkmall under the name RAKIA Turkmall. Turkmall has also concluded a JV for Georgia under the name Turkmall Georgia.

Turkmall has been the franchise partner for IKEA in Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania and currently expands to the Caucasian, North African and Middle Eastern countries and is active in Russia.
