BOB THACKER Bob Thacker, the former senior vice-president of advertising and marketing at OfficeMax, was responsible for establishing the company’s brand position and all marketing campaigns. Prior to joining OfficeMax, Bob was the president/CEO of BBDO and the senior vice-president of marketing at Sears. As the vice-president of marketing of Target in 1989-98, Bob succeeded to bring Target to a new level of consumer loyalty through his efforts on brand restructuring and brand awareness. Selected twice by Advertising Age as “one of the Top 100 marketers” in the U.S., Bob, continues to provide consulting services extensively in the United States, Europe, Australia and Africa.
