An award-winning journalist Tim Harford bridges the two worlds of economics and journalism, via his long-running BBC Radio programmes, his part on the Editorial Board and his widely read column in the Financial Times. His most famous book, The Undercover Economist, has been translated into 30 languages and listed as a bestseller, while his new book Adapt has made a tremendous impact all over the world.

Combining psychology and popular economics in diverse topics, he presents his analysis about everything from the hidden business lessons from the war in Iraq and the economy of Love and Dating, on the other.

TIM HARFORD Tim Harford is an extraordinary award winning journalist, economist and a presenter of BBC Radio & TV programmes who reveals the economic secrets of everyday life and the social forces behind it. He is the senior columnist and a member of the editorial board at the Financial Times with his weekly column “Undercover Economist”. He also has a column called “Dear Economist” in which readers' personal problems are answered humorously with the latest economic theory. Before becoming a writer and a visiting fellow at Cass Business School, Tim worked for Shell and the World Bank. His articles have since been published by the leading magazines and newspapers including Forbes, the Guardian, the Washington Post and the New York Times. In 2011 Tim was named one of the UK’s top 20 most influential people on Twitter by The Independent newspaper.
