Managing Any Business Like a Start-up
Mark Little is a successful entrepreneur who also served as the Vice President Media Partnerships for Twitter in Europe and managed Twitter’s EMEA headquarters.
Prior to Twitter, he founded Storyful, the world’s first social media news agency, and led a team of journalists and technologists who work with the biggest news organizations and social networks in the world, including YouTube, Facebook, BBC, ABC News and the New York Times. Little sold this successful enterprise to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation in 2013.
For almost 20 years, Mark worked for the Irish national broadcaster, where he was rewarded for his reportings from abroad. He is also the author of three books.
Giving seminars and talks, Little shares his social media and start-up experiences with professionals and entrepreneurs. Little thinks that any new idea is a big idea that is worth trying and we can move forward as soon as we get rid of the fear of failure.
In his session at Retail Days, Little will talk about how established companies should open themselves to new ideas and revive their start-up spirit. He will explain how to bravely attempt new ideas even in long-existing companies without being dwelled on countless graphs and numbers.
By sharing his experiences, Little will inspire us for developing our businesses and putting our ideas into action.
