Deniz N. Erda, who entered Turkey in 2013 and successfully dissolved design and technology in a crucible, successfully running the Middle East and Africa market, was appointed President of ECCO America as of December 1.

Celebrating its 60th anniversary all over the world this year, the Danish shoe and leather brand ECCO has continued to grow rapidly in recent years. In addition to 20 stores in Turkey and 2,066 stores worldwide, there are 4 leather and 6 shoe factories. With more than 24 thousand employees from 76 nationalities, it produces 30 pairs of ECCO shoes per minute.

In 2022, the foreign tourist rate in Turkey was 40% and the Turkish consumer rate was 60%, while in 2023 the proportion changed to 81% Turks and 19% foreigners. Deniz N. Erda says that among the most important factors for ECCO Turkey to have a successful year, foreign tourists and shopping after covid are among the most important factors.
